Wind singt kalter Tropfen Lied,
trostlos Scheiben blinken.
Meer singt kalten Windes Lied,
werden Schiffe sinken?

Wie von ihren Zweigen
Äpfel niedersausen.
Schlingt hinab die Schiffe, schlingt sie
Meeresbrausen?
